Kimberley
Clow

Kim is a mother of two and has a diverse family. Naturally, she began searching for locally produced children’s books that would more accurately reflect the members of her own family. She managed to find a few but not nearly enough and decided to write her own story, with friend Graham Geiger-Krige, with a focus on promoting diversity & inclusion, in a South African context.
Graham is a Creative Copywriter and lifelong family friend of Kim’s. Whilst working for ad agencies both in South Africa & abroad, he realised his favourite campaigns always have a social undercurrent. So when Kim mentioned her idea to create a children’s book series promoting diversity & inclusion Graham clicked his trusty BIC pen into action and joined the team.

SUPPORT

the anti-racism network of South Africa

Conversations about race shouldn’t start & finish with story time 📚 That’s why a portion of the profits from ‘Willow asks Why?’  and 100% of the proceeds from ‘The Story of Sihle and his Stutter’ will go to our friends at the Anti-Racism Network South Africa (ARNSA) where they’ll be used to help carry the conversation forward.

Lots of small steps can create big changes 🌱🌲
